Aims And Objectives

  1. To provide a link between the University and its graduate student union leaders.
  2. To assist the University in whatever way possible in its development and in its drive to establish and maintain a tradition of excellence in all its endeavours.
  3. To promote mutual understanding, cooperation, interaction  and fraternal relationship amongst the graduate student union leader s of the university.
  4. To advise the authorities of the University and the Government on academic matter s in particular and on all matters relating to  the wellbeing of the entire University  community .
  5. To establish a fund for the maintenance and promotion of scholarship and research in ESUT and to provide all necessary assistance in improving student welfare i n the University.
  6. To organize seminars, conferences and symposia on matters of contemporary interest and to publish the proceedings and papers as may be deemed expedient .
  7. To publish magazines, periodicals newsletters and other publications as may be deemed necessary for the achievement of its objectives.
  8. To confer, consult , maintain contact and cooperate with any persons, associations, societies, institutions or bodies of persons established in Nigeria or elsewhere having objectives in whole or in part similar to those of the Association.
  9. To raise funds voluntarily and receive donations, gifts, grants and bequests from members and the general public for financing any of the above objectives and most especially to organize such fund raising activities as may be decided upon by the National  Executive Council .
  10. To carry out the various aims and objectives through, inter alia, establishment of standing committees when necessary.
  11. To rally round members in pursuit of noble courses that would positively impact the larger society.
  12. To serve as a hub f or knowledge and information sharing amongst ESUT graduate student leaders.
  13. To assist in the welfare of members.
  14. To do all such things as the Association may consider to be in its interest or that of the University and the larger society or otherwise incidental or conducive to the achievement of any of the above objectives
